The Sacred Condition of Being

What does it mean to exist—to truly feel, to remember, to become?

The Sacred Condition of Being is a visual pilgrimage into the essence of human and cosmic experience. Across this series—through Zero, Innocence, and Innocence in Distress—we travel through the unseen architecture of life itself: from the formless origin, through the untouched heart of being, into the raw and sacred vulnerability of existence.

Zero is the beginning before beginnings—a mandalic portal into the void where all creation waits. It is the black hole of consciousness, the womb of the cosmos, the moment before thought arises. In this stillness, time folds, identity dissolves, and the inner eye sees what cannot be named.

From that origin, Innocence emerges—not as naïveté, but as the soul’s unguarded truth. It is the place untouched by judgment, the breath before story, the state of being that simply is. A mirror to the viewer’s own forgotten wholeness.

And then, Innocence in Distress—where the human journey reveals its sacred tension. Here, innocence meets challenge, vulnerability meets form, and pain is not failure, but passage. This piece reminds us that to live is to be both ancient and breaking, pure and pressed. It reflects our own experience mirrored in the living Earth: breathing, aching, surviving, becoming.

Together, these works are not separate—they are one movement. A rhythm. A sacred unfolding.

They do not seek to explain. They ask to be felt. And in that feeling, something begins to stir:

Perhaps, a remembering of what it means to be here. To be human. To be whole.
